Strathnaver Museum first opened its doors to the public in 1976 thanks to the efforts of Dr Ian Grimble and a dedicated band of local people who recognised the importance of preserving their history for the benefit of themselves and the generations to come. For over 40 years Strathnaver Museum has been going from strength to strength thanks to the efforts of its tireless volunteers.
