Please support our regeneration programme. Subject to funding, we plan to close at the end of the 2009 season and totally refurbish the museum. We will have disabled access, a new gallery space, a shop, research facilities and toilets.
The entrance is on the right hand side. The positioning of the lift and toilets are likely to alter when detailed plans are done in order to include a stairway.
The Upper Floor, which will be accessed by the lift or stairs (not shown) as seen in the top right hand corner, and you will leave this floor by the stairs from the Mackay Room shown in the top left hand corner.
Your tour will begin on the first floor.
The whole project will cost £750,000 and we ask for your support to help to make it happen.
We have applied to Historic Scotland for support and funding for the repairs to the museum.
Every donation entitles you to become a FRIEND OF STRATHNAVER MUSEUM.
